School age immunisations
School age immunisations is a service in Doncaster
The School Age Immunisation team comprises registered nurses and healthcare support workers dedicated to administering the national school-age immunisation programme.
How we can help
Our immunisation programmes are conducted in schools, with community clinics arranged for home-educated children and those who missed vaccinations in school. If needed, home visits can also be arranged.
We offer the following immunisations:
- human papillomavirus in school years 8
- diphtheria, tetanus and polio (MenACWY and Td/IPV vaccine) to all children in year 9
- seasonal flu
- measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) catch up is also offered to adolescent children from Year 8
What to expect
- Your child’s school will receive the date when our team will administer vaccines.
- The school will share an electronic link to the consent form with parents for each specific vaccine.
- Complete and return the consent form to the school before the vaccination session.
- If digital access is unavailable, request a paper consent form from the school.
