Adult mental health inpatient
Located in Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
Adult mental health inpatient services include elements of:
- rehabilitation
- crisis
- assertive outreach
- early intervention in psychosis
- day services
Additionally, the trust also provides Psychological Therapies team and Primary Care Mental Health team.
How we can help
We offer mental health inpatient services across three localities:
- Doncaster at the adult mental health unit which consists of Brodsworth, Cusworth and Skelbrooke wards
- Rotherham at Swallownest court which consists of Sandpiper, Osprey, and Kingfisher
- North Lincolnshire at the Great Oaks mental health unit
Non-urgent advice: How to get help
Referrals to our adult mental health inpatient services are assessed by the Crisis team and your care coordinators.
Assessments are based on individual needs, for both voluntary and detained patients under the Mental Health Act.
Contact the service
Wards are open every day:
- 10am to midday
- 1pm to 5pm
- 6pm to 9pm
If you are unable to visit at these times, arrangements can be made for you to visit at other times. We also accommodate alternative visiting times for carers or family for additional familiar support if needed.
If this is required, please speak with the nurse in charge on the ward to arrange this.
