2.1 What are the main aims and purposes of the policy, service, or strategy or event
To allow registered nurses who are trained, to supply and administrator sexual health medication within the trust.
2.2 Who is involved in delivering the service, implementing the policy, strategy or organising the event
Registered nurses.
2.3 What information, data or experience can you draw on to provide an indication of the potential inclusive or exclusive results of delivering this service or event or implementing the policy or strategy
The PGD’s follow the guidelines, which have been written by British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH). Also follow’s service standards written by them and the trust policy.

The PGD’s are written for the needs of the clients who are being seen within the service. An assessment will be taken following the BASHH medical legibility criteria, which is produced by the to assess risk.
