Rachel Blake, Non-Executive Director

Rachael has had a career of careers starting working life as a student nurse and then a staff nurse in London and currently working in the rail industry as a sponsor for a billion pound upgrade programme with many different roles in local government, the NHS and voluntary and community sectors over the last 40 years. Central to all her roles has been a belief in the power of communities. She has been an elected member in Doncaster since 2015 and from 2017 to 2024 a cabinet member at Doncaster council for adults social care, children’s social care and equalities.

Rachael has lived and worked in North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire since 2002.
