Volunteer
Dedicated volunteers of all ages and backgrounds selflessly devote their time to the trust each year. They find themselves carrying out various tasks which help support staff in their clinical duties and offer additional help and activities for service users.
Who are we
Our volunteers in all parts of the trust carry out many different roles, which reflect their own particular skills and interests.
These include helping out in art groups, driving patients to and from the hospital sites, providing trolley services to the wards and hospice volunteers making tea, and helping out in the cafés and gardens.
Wherever they are and in whichever role they choose to offer their help, both the trust and those who use our services are extremely grateful for the time that they give.
